April Bowlby was raised in Vallejo California and went to Moorpark College. There she studied French, Marine Biology and Ballet. As she entered her teens, she began to model. Then she turned her attention to acting. In 2005, she made her on-camera professional debut in a role as a guest in "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation". After that, she was introduced to film and TV work, appearing in such films as "CSI NY", "Stacked", "Freddie", "Sands of Oblivion", "All Roads Lead Home", "Out of Jimmy's Head", "Kath & Kim", "Psych", as well as "From The Prada Show to Nada". Her name is most famously known for her roles as a recurring character in "How I met Your Mother" and "Two and Half Men".
