Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia was born in Canada. She is best known to Canadians for her role as a Canadian actress on the Freeform fantasy show Shadowhunters. Also, she appeared in Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea a' que te love. She is also an accomplished model as well as a dancer. Her home is in Montreal However, she was raised and studied in Texas. Her love of dance has been a part of her since the age of a child. She's been training in diverse styles of dance since her early years. In her 15th year she began participating in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous after she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. In 2010, she began her acting career as a receptionist in an episode of Telemundo's television show Aurora. The year 2015 saw her starred in her first feature film, the action drama Tattooed Love.
