Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents of Winona Ryder gave her the name of her hometown. Michel Horowitz is her father and Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder's father came from an ethnically Jewish family Ryder thinks she's Jewish. Uria is Ryder's younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are the half siblings of Ryder. In the year Ryder was only seven her family moved into Mendocino County California. The town didn't even have electricity. Ryder began to be a committed reading book because there was no television. Ryder began taking acting classes when Ryder was twelve years old, at the American Conservatory Theatre. Lucas the film, which was released in 1986 that she was in, was her debut major role. Ryder was only fifteen when she landed the role. Ryder suffered bullying in high school. Her hope was that acting might change the situation. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. It didn't stop her from following her dreams. In 1988, she received her breakthrough role in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was a star in numerous films. In 1993 she received two nominations for Academy Awards. One of them for her role in The Age of Innocence.
